Artur Jakucewicz (“we”, “us”) operates the BMI Family Calculator mobile application (Google Play – Ideal Weight Calculator, App Store – Ideal Weight & BMI Calculator) and the website BodyMassIndex.app (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services you accept this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app, clear your browser cookies and stop using the Services.

1. Information We Collect

• Usage data — pages/screens viewed, taps, time-on-page, crash logs.
• Approximate location (city-level) — for language/region analytics.
• Device info — OS version, model, anonymous Advertising ID / IDFA.
• No weight, height or personally identifying details are collected.

2. How We Collect It

Data are gathered via Google Analytics 4 (website), Google Analytics for Firebase (app), Apple App Analytics and standard server logs. Each platform assigns a random identifier; we cannot identify a real person from it.

3. Why We Collect It

• Operate and maintain the Services.
• Diagnose bugs and improve performance.
• Understand which features people use most and plan new ones.
• Comply with Google Play / Apple guidelines and regional laws (GDPR, CCPA, PDPA).

4. Third-Party Processors

We rely on:

• Google LLC – Analytics 4, Firebase, AdMob
• Apple – App Store Connect / App Analytics

They process data only on our behalf and under confidentiality agreements.

5. Cookies Policy

We use first-party cookies (e.g., language preference) and Google Analytics 4 cookies to collect anonymous statistics. You can delete or block cookies in your browser; the site will still work, but analytics accuracy will decrease.

6. Data Retention & Security

• Analytics data: deleted or aggregated after 26 months.
• Crash logs: kept for 90 days.
• HTTPS/TLS and encryption-at-rest are applied where available.

7. Your Choices

• Opt-out: enable “Limit Ad Tracking” (iOS) or “Opt out of Ads Personalization” (Android), or install the GA opt-out add-on.
• Clear cookies in your browser.
• Uninstall the app to stop all data collection.
• Request data access or deletion via e-mail.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

Material updates will be announced inside the app and on this page. Continued use equals acceptance.
